I have never accomplished something based on pure talent, which has allowed me to take pride in my work. I set high standards for myself, and I strive to achieve them daily. I have always been an independent person, but I also find myself taking charge on group projects and at practice for xc and track. Over the past six years, I have been on numerous mission trips with my church, and I am currently involved in Girls Inc. I enjoy the challenges that math and science present, along with the excitement of future innovation they can contribute to. In my free time, I enjoy helping others, represented through my involvement in Girls Inc. and personal training at the HRC, running, and reading autobiographies. I can generalize my interests to be applied in a career field; I enjoy a variety of scientific areas and challenges, I enjoy working with others, I can manage conflicts well, and I typically take a leadership role.
