Unit 3 Nursing Organizations Paper

This paper will be referring to three websites pertaining to organization on the profession of nursing atheist. The organizations that I will be going over is ASPAN, BERNA, and AANA. After toughly looking over each website I have listed what is on the home page, the tabs they have provided, their mission statement, what the organization is all about, how to obtain a membership, and the benefits that come with having a membership with that particular organization. The first organization I found on Nurse Anesthetist is ASPAN (American Society of Peri-Anesthetist Nurses). This site has a relatively simple layout with blue being the base color. Their homepage has highlights of some of the information on the site. They have 9 tab that contain an About Us tab, a Members tab, a Clinical Practice tab, an Education tab, a Research tab, a Events tab, a Resources tab, and a ASPAN Forums tab. Under the about us tab they have listed their core porpouse which is “To advance the unique specialty of the paranesthesia nursing”. Also under the about us tab they have a brief history of the organization. This organization has a membership opportunity but, you must apply for the and then be accepted in to the organization. The site is simple and the colors complement each other very nicely. When you are on the home page they have a big picture saying Join Us. It has 7 tabs which includes an About Us tab, a Membership tab, an Education tab, a Clinical Practice tab, a News tab, A Join Barna tab, and a contact tab. Under the About Us tab they have their Visions and Values which is separated into Aims and Objectives. The membership is only for Nurses and Nursing students only.
