Bias Impacts The bias that could impact this alternative is inclinations towards why only the “older employees” are receiving training, and not the “younger employees”. The analyzes showed the older employees required training and in order to fund the other areas, in more critical need for improvement, the funding had to priorities. The new techs may not have the qualifications as expected, and will not provide the help required. The 8 computer being upgraded may not be sufficient to actually make a difference is the issues occurring.
Consequences
The consequences that may impact this alternative are: Implementing this alternative, may not resolved the initial problems outlined, bring the department back to square one. Making the decision not to fund the new hardware service policy and to instead hire two techs, may not resolve the current issues, etc. Not offering the “younger employees” the opportunities to participate in training, may cause the company to lose good and fresh talent.
Tradeoff Impacts A tradeoff that may impact this alternative is: Making the decision to hire a second tech gave up the option to implement a new service policy, causing outage time to remain long and relisted.
