Black Swan is a 2010 American psychological thriller-horror film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The film received five Academy Award nominations and Natalie Portman won the Best Actress award for the film, as well as many other Best Actress awards in several guilds and festivals. In addition, Darren Aronofsky was nominated for Best Director and the film itself received a nomination for Best Picture. Thirty-one awards is the number that this film received. Natalie Portman won Best Actress for being Nina Sayers on Academy Award in 2011, Golden Globe Award in 2011, BAFTE Award in a Leading Role in 2011, Independent Spirit Award in 2011, Screen Actors Guild Award in 2011, Teen Choice Award in 2011, Saturn Award in 2011, Critics’ Choice Movie Award …show more content…

Lily is the person the Leroy admires because she is natural actress. From the scene that Nina dreamed about she having sex with Lily is not because she is a lesbian. In psychological, dreaming about having sex is because you want the person that you having sex accept you in the real world. When we talking about sex, we think about Sigmund Freud theories. In the movie, Nina have too much superego because how her mother foster her, so she trying to transform to have more id. Another evidence that show us Nina is really likes Leroy is when she succeeds to be Black Swan, She kissed Leroy like nobody is watching. And that is because she does it with id.
