In ancient times Trampoline like devices were used in China, Egypt, and Iran. You're probably wondering how they could used it. There are multiple purposes for this. Sometimes they would be used for celebrations or for religious ceremonies. They also could be used to see the animals so they could seek and kill. The device was made up of walrus skin with people holding tightly on the edges to launch the person up into the air.
The first official modern trampoline was made in 1934 at the university of Iowa. The whole purpose of it at the time was to train astronauts, freestyle skiers, gymnastics, and diving sports. Over time people started to make up cool tricks. One of the tricks is called an A arabian. The trick is simply doing a backflip while twisting to do a 180. Another trick is a front full. While doing a front full you have to twist to make a full 360 rotation. Most of the people could not afford trampolines at the time.
