The types of anxiety, and defense mechanisms can be limitedly applied since there are not many incidents where Tina has shown anxiety. The psychosexual stages of personality development cannot fully describe Tina since there is no explicit information about her when she was younger. The stages could only be a good devise if Tina’s life since birth was shown. The approach to self was a good way to describe Tina. She has her own self-concept, she is shown to have good self-esteem, and her social identity is continuously developing with her experiences. Although, the drawback could be Tina is still in her adolescence. Her self-esteem level could still change. There might be future identity crises that she would face. There might be an unknown experience from the past that could change theory’s perspective of Tina. In addition, these theories also does not take account her surrounding.
