Scout
I feel like a major archetype for Scout is Loss of Innocence. The reason I think this is such a major archetype is because of the various tasks she is faced with throughout the chapters. The most evident example of this archetype was when Atticus explains to her that she should not judge people, but understand what they are going through. Atticus said to her “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view. . . until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” (Lee 30) From this time onward Scout begins to learn how to interact with others and become less self centered.
