In the book Mice and men written by john steinbeck he talks about two guys friendship. The two friends were george and lennie . A friendship is where one take care of another because he is not mental well or disable Like george and lennie george took care of lennie because he was not mentally well. i believed that george is a good friend because he cares for lennie and do anything for him.
There's a lot of people think that george is a bad friend because he hit him . One of the reason that george is a good friend is that george looks out for lennie. one example is that lennie drink water from the pond and george said that lennie you going to be sick like you was last night . Another example is that when george threw away the dead mouse that lennie found because it was dead and probably had deisse. He killed lennie because lennie killed curley's wife and that curley would tourturelennie and then he would kill him son he just kill him so he could not suffer the pain. The second reason that they give me is that george pra nked lennie and said that jump in the pol and knowing that he couldn’t swim so he could teach him a lesson. i agree that he said that but after that he jump in the pond and save lennie from drowning. Their last reason that they would give is that george would talk smack about lennie and that he would say mean stuff about him.
