When it comes to samurais and knights there is always going to be similarities and differences. It all started in 1000 to 1600 CE and took place in Japan and Europe. And both of these warriors were created because both Japan and Europe were being destroyed and they needed guards, So then they created the Knight and the samurai. They both learned at different times And they both have different armor, But they both had different feelings on death but I think that the differences will greater the similarities because they are completely different warriors. And feudalism is how it started when a lord acquires a large piece of land and gives some of it to a lesser noble for military services, food, and farm land. I think that because they come from completely different cultures. And they were all trained at a relatively young age. And they were very loyal to their leaders. They both wore a lot of armor. Then it became very common to speak of the samurai's lifes to his lord aslasting the duration of three lives which would be his past existence, then his present one, and then to the next life. All the training of a sammouri began in their childhood. At age 14 the young samurai would officially become a samurai in a ceremony called genpuku. The training of a knight would start at 4 or 5 when learning how to ride a pony at the age of 7 or 8. And for how early they start the would only become a knight at the age of 21. (DocsB&C) And when it would come to armor it would be completely different with some similarities. The samurai’s armor would be small iron scales tied together. And their helmets would be made out of 8 to 12 iron plates and below the helmet would be a neck piece. And with out a metal part on there right arm they would be able to pull a bow back easier. Even though knights armor has changed through the years it has always been made out of metal the most familiar suit is made out of all metal that would weigh more than 40 lbs. And they would both have their own war religion for the samurai it would be the code of bushido and the Knights would be the code of chivalry. The work of the samurai consists in discharging loyal service and respect to his master if he were to have one. With great ceremony each knight took …show more content…
For example in this samurai Poem it states, “One day you are born you the next”. Which to me sounds like the samurai believe in reincarnation. And for the Knights it states he feels that the end of his life has come. He has lain down on a steep hill with his face toward Spain and with one hand he beats his breast God, I acknowledge my guilt and I beg for Thy mercy for all the sins great which I have committed from the hour of my birth until this day when I lie here overcome by death. Angels descend out of heaven and come to him. And which to me sounds like the knights are very high in the christianity

First of all, Knights and Samurais are similar because of what they wore/used in battle. They were almost the same thing, just different materials. This is evidenced by the fact that Knights wore a heavy iron armour while the Samurais wore a medium weighted leather armour. Meaning that they used the same type of armour, just in two different materials. This is also evidenced by the fact that Knights used Iron swords while the Samurais used Steel Swords.…
