Both Clinical and Forensic professional are types of Psychologist who often times must appear as witnesses in court proceedings. Both professionals must have a Master’s degree for educational requirements. Even though the duties appear to be similar these are the difference; Clinical work is more apt toward a client’s improvement and adjustment methods to life and overall mental health. A Forensic Professionals work is more apt to the process of legal proceedings, and to give their expert opinion and answer a court’s proposed questioning regarding accountability and status of mental health in reference to a crime committed.
