A question America is having to ask themselves at this very moment is should we or should we not erect a wall? In my honest opinion i do not believe that America should build a wall, but instead focus some of our attention in the U.S. citizens jobs, deportation of illegals, and harsher consequences for illegal immigrants breaking the law.
Every day more and more immigrants are coming into America illegally to find a better life for them and possibly their families. When they come with these intentions the must find a way to support themselves, so the first thing they do is acquire a job. Now that they have a job, and they are putting food on the table every night everything is just fine. Except for the fact that that money doesn't always get spent back into the economy. When the money doesn't get spent here in the homeland it can tend to hurt our economy. There are some immigrants that do come to this land with the intention to stay and really make something of themselves, immigrants who do put money back into the economy. Some do not have families they have to send their money back to. Those are the kind of immigrants that we need to keep in america. These kind of immigrants work hard, and some for a cheaper price compared to your average day educated white man. As for the illegal immigrants who come into America wanting to break the law and rebel against the government, i feel strongly they should be punished harsher than an American born citizen. I only feel that illegal immigrants should be punished a bit harsher to make a point, due to the fact that they hurt our economy. If an immigrant wants to come to America, he or she has their papers and is here legally, i feel they should be respected the same as anybody else. They should be respected as a hard working American citizen just trying to make a living. If any illegal immigrants are to come into the United States bearing a child i personally feel that they and the children born or not born in the states should be deported immediately. Whether you are born in the united states or not should determine whether you are a citizen or not, but not necessarily in all cases. If your parents travel here a few days or weeks before your birth, then you should be an illegal immigrant who traveled here like the rest of them, especially if your parents aren't legal either. Bringing a baby into America right before it is born while its parents are illegal immigrants then you are cheating the system in a way, which is hey i think we should fix that loophole in the system so that it can't be cheated. So when you find a house of illegal immigrants and illegal children I believe they should be deported immediately and allowed to come back if they can get in the right way. If any immigrant can manage to make it into the states, then there must be a reason for that …show more content…
There are a few ways how the legal immigrants actually do more good than they do bad, and most people probably don't even realize that. As for the unskilled legal immigrants, they tend to really compliment the skilled worker, instead of taking away from him like most people believe. In states with more unskilled immigrants the productivity actually when up instead of down. The boss no longer has to pay a skilled worker to do an unskilled worker's job in some instances which save him money in the long run. With cost lower for the boss, that means he could increase the number of jobs that he could plan
