The Pros And Cons Of Jurassic Park

Becoming a laboratory technician to work with DNA to create real Jurassic Park has many risks. The likelihood of being able to do so is highly unlikely. First, according to the movie, DNA fragments of dinosaurs were found in amber but only small fragments of a few individual genes were obtained. Without the entire intact genome, it is difficult to reconstruct a dinosaur with only select gene fragments. Also, it has been found that it is impossible for the DNA of the dinosaurs to have survived that long in the amber. If recreating dinosaurs was something that was something the geneticist community would be interested in completing, then another method would have to be considered to make the project successful. First, dinosaurs were very large, some over one hundred feet long, so it would be very difficult in keep them in an environment that would be able to control them yet is also ethical and isn’t keeping these giant monsters in a nature-lacking closed off environment. Also, the danger exists that if humans were exposed to dinosaurs, it would be unknown how the interaction would take place. In the past, only fossils have been analyzed, so there is no indication that dinosaurs would be friendly or wouldn’t attack any chance that arises. If multiple dinosaurs were recreated like in Jurassic Park, then it would be very expensive to shelter and feed the dinosaurs, which seems unlikely to be accomplished. Although the creation of dinosaurs would be one of the biggest scientific breakthroughs in history, it would would be difficult to escape the unethical parts that exist as well as the cost and likelihood that the project is even a
