Ezekiel Elliott. He is one of the best running backs in the NFL, despite only being a sophomore. He is a legitimate superstar in the NFL. But, after Elliott was suspended by the NFL for domestic abuse, the Cowboys will have to continue on without their premier running back. Let’s take a look at how they have fared so far, and how they will do continuing on this season. In the few games directly after the Elliott suspension, the Cowboys have struggled mightily. The first game without Elliott, the Cowboys lost to the Falcons 27-7. Their offensive woes were clearly shown throughout the game.
