Precisely, they give lipids to us, which stores energy of food and proteins which are used for the basic living things in life. For example, proteins help with the growth and repairs, energy and buffers. However, as they grow from a baby chick to a healthy chicken they must be taken care of with the right type of food and the right environment for them to mature. In addition, extra protein can turn into excess fat and it can cause multiple diseases as well as fuel cancer. Lastly, there is no surprise that the chickens are forty-five percent of the food that Americans eat each week and that there are many ways for them to be eaten
