Sociology is the study of society and human social relationships. It is a social science that takes place in the social lives of groups and people in a society, family, work place, etc.
Social Institutions that include the shaping of social action are also included in sociology. Sociology is a study that can help us understand the human behavior better with regards to emotional stability, the use of technology or even eating habits for that matter. An individual with a good sense of his surrounding and understands the term sociology well would be able to go around his atmosphere of people well as he would know exactly how and what to react to who’s statement.

He was considered to be capitalism’s worst critic. He noted down a few problems with capitalism which would be: Modern work is alienated, Modern work is insecure, Workers get paid little while capitalists get rich, Capitalism is very unstable & capitalism is bad for capitalists. Marx believed that the economy created an ideology from which all capitalists rich and poor believed things which were just valued judgements. For example, that if a person did not work he was worthless or if we had more materialistic things that it would make us happier. One of the biggest problems of capitalism for him was that there was not corrupt people on the top but that capitalists ideas make us anxious, conformed, competitive and politically complacent.
Before sociology had emerged the study of society was carried through an unscientific method and that society had not been the dominant alarm of any science. To be able to develop and use this skill of applied sociology well can make not just me but any business person a good person to work with. This topic is vital to me as I may one day would have to go and take over the family business and I need to first learn and understand my staff’s culture, family background and so on. I cannot just walk in one day an boss over all my employees and expect them to listen to me. I’ll end up running a company the next day with no staff. We need to know how to deal with every individual differently as per the required situation.
