The Gods has always impacted human kind, but not as much as Athena in the story of The Odyssey. Throughout the works, the Grey-eyed Goddess was the planner, the guide to achieving Odysseus battle to get home and kill the suitors. It would not have been possible for Odysseus to win if Athena had not intervened. Athena casted grace, courage, beauty, invisibility, and disguised in favor of getting Odysseus home.

Throughout The Odyssey Athena always makes a plan ahead of time through every situation. She influenced the Phaeacians princess to wash robes that morning, so that Odysseus could achieve a ride home.
