Many teenage girls are hooked on E! a popular shamming channel, and teen boys are hooked on anything that has violence, majorly where they can be online like their PlayStations or Xboxes. Girls see these programs where celebrities are being criticizes from head to toe on what they wear to what they look like. These programs use words such as fat or ugly to send the wrong message to every teenage girl. As for the boys, seeing channels with so much violence gives them the impression that they have to become this person that suppresses their emotions. Boys are shown to be someone who is strong and fearless, not someone that gives hugs or talks to girls about their feelings. Media makes sure that their programs are entertaining. We often put aside what could or is happening with their mental development. Not only do children get affected, but media has taken its toll on adults. Adults have been diagnosed with depression and more often than not they have trouble
