This paper will evaluate some of the organizational diagnosis models that are used for OD in order to evaluate the issues, and their remedial strategies. WFM, despite rapid growth and consumer loyalty, faces internal and external issues like any other large organization. Some of these issues include a struggling United States economy as Americans face a stunted recovery from recession, and some reports suggest that the economy is shrinking, if only for a short time (Schwartz, 2015). Additionally, there is an increasing amount of competition in the organic food industry as the traditional grocery vendors are providing more low-cost options for the health-conscious. Many other external factors, as such presented by the IRS, SEC, FTC and other government agencies can present some problems for industry in general, which is a significant consideration for the company (Conti, 2002).
Analyzing these factors, especially external factors, is a daunting task for any organization, and must be considered carefully when choosing an appropriate diagnostic model.
