After successfully passing the investigations and testing you have an oral interview and after that, you go to the police academy training in Braintree, MA. You have to live their Monday to Friday during the training period. The starting salary for an MA State Trooper goes from $840.80 bi-weekly during the training in the academy and increases from $51,935.28, to $60,337.20, to $61,911.12, to $63,486,24, to $65,061,60.
