The Make-A-Wish Foundation (MAW) has long been held in high regard for its mission of serving children with life threatening illness. Their mission helps create and/or facilitate dream experiences for these children in an effort for providing strength and hope (Grant). This case is interesting in that it addressing another aspect of the foundation; their organizational structure and culture. The largest contributors to their success are their practices, values, and shared beliefs. The influence of these areas creates benefit and challenges in he organization.
