On March 23, 1775, Patrick Henry, a renowned delegate, made an oration in St. John’s Church in Richmond, Virginia. He spoke at a meeting called the Second Virginia Convention. The Revolutionary War had not yet commenced, but war had nearly been proclaimed officially, and it was foreseeable by all. Patrick Henry was a prodigy at speaking, a master of discoursing a subject, and orating a masterful creation. Above these abilities, Henry was unequivocally committed and believing in liberty for his country.
