After a while of telling Sohrab everything was going to be alright, he accepted to come to America and start a life there. Now Amir’s guilt is gone and he has righted his wrongs. In Conclusion, in both Hamlet and The Kite Runner, the main characters experience guilt and tragedy which is a result of their inactiveness, have an unstable relationship with their fathers, and at the end prove that there is always an opportunity for redemption. This clearly shows that there is a direct relation between active choice and the life lived. One must wonder the impact of their own decisions, and tragedy is only a few decisions
