Of course due to the age differences, older adults seek different things in their partner than younger adults. In this research report, it is shown that older adults are more likely to “present themselves positively and emphasize their existing relationships and health” (digital dating). The research collected data from dating profiles in order to examine the age differences. The interesting thing is that in the end, older adults are more likely to use first person plural pronouns as well as more responsibility matter, “individuals focus on attaining roles necessary for a successful adult life by pursuing an education, building a career, seeking marriage, and becoming a parent”.
