The Inca society which was located on a high plateau of the Andes mountains and by 1200 have a kingdom in the valley of Cuzco. The Inca also have found a way to have an organized rule, they decided to divide the conquered lands into smaller city-states, which made it easier for them to govern. They establish an official language known as Quechua and have also established a road network that stretched to 14,000 miles long, which was used to carry messages to different places. The Inca were also polytheistic, but they had fewer gods than the Aztec. Although, just like the Egyptian they believed that their ruler had descended from the sun god, which was one of the most important gods along with the creator god. The Inca were very sophisticated people, they used different ways to conquer lands. Instead of marching in and slashing and burning everything, they used diplomacy and military force to conquer. This lead to the Cuzco empire reaching its height in 1500. Which does not last very long, after Huayna Capac dies the kingdom is divided between his two sons in 1520. The tension rises and a civil war takes place just before the Spanish arrive. Although there were some differences between the Native American, Maya, Aztec, and Inca societies, there were many similarities as well. Religion being something that was very similar throughout the societies as well of some sort of government. Another thing that happened on multiple occasions, was the fact the many of the societies united with other tribes or groups in the area to defend each other.
