The Inbetweeners Film Analysis

The Inbetweeners

The Inbetweeners movie is a British film that follows the end of the Inbetweeners TV series, yet it fully stands alone. A group of geeky high school guys take a holiday to Greece after their senior year. The four get up to goofy shenanigans while partying and trying to streak with the ladies.

The film consists of immature humor and corny bits, but you appreciate it for what it is, a good laugh. In no way is the film deep, but the British quad will make you chuckle. By the end if you are craving more of their awkwardness and bizarre situations the Inbetweeners 2 is also on Netflix and the lads take over Australia.

The film Babies, that we watched in class, was a very interesting and a great example of how cultures differ in communication. It was amusing to watch the cultures that majorly differed from my own. The most surprising part of this film was the way parents raised children in Mongolian culture and Namibian culture. When going in to the film, I expected exactly what the movie was about, which was exploring very interesting cultures and the different ways of raising children within them.…

For my film analysis, I chose to analyze the movie “The Outsiders” directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on the novel “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton. In this movie, a gang of outcasts from the north side of town called the Greasers are always fighting against a rival group called the Socials, who are the rich jocks from the south side of town. The story follows two young Greasers, Johnny and Ponyboy, who aren’t like the others. These two see that fighting is pointless, but it’s just the way they live their life. The two boys get into a fight with some Socials and end up killing one.…

The 1985 classic adventure film, "The Goonies", has evolved from cult favorite to iconic cinema for Generation X. Fans can quote the entire word verbatim, but much more went on behind the scenes that the audience was unaware of until now. 1) Sean Astin, who played Mikey, was allowed to keep One-Eyed Willie's treasure map from the movie, but, years later, his mother cleaned out his bedroom and threw away the map without realizing its value. 2) Randell Widner, the stunt double for John Matuszak who played Sloth, had to shadow the former football player around town to make sure he got back to the hotel due to his drinking habits, drug use and penchant for picking fights. 3) In part of the movie, Sloth is seen wearing an Oakland Raiders t-shirt; a team John Matuszak played for…
