The problem of alcohol and substance has been on the surge in campuses. This calls for intervention programs such as counseling programs and diverse entrepreneurial opportunities that students can engage in. Consequently, existence of online support groups where students can share their problems among themselves is needed. This will help in transforming learning institutions from mere formal education entities full of depressing activities to spaces where they can find something meaningful. The programs should promote integration among all stakeholders in order to promote sharing of information, ideas and help in problem solving.
