Although all the obstacles that faced the book, it continued to get published in revised editions and many chapters were added to the book to cover Puberty and Families. The book translated to 30 different languages, and got supported by doctors, psychologists and teachers.

Sexually transmitted disease called STDs for short – are disease, infection, or illnesses that can spread from one person to another through sexual contact, from sexual touching to any kind of sexual intercourse- vaginal, oral or anal intercourse. Another term for STDs is STIs – short for sexually transmitted infections. An older term for STDs is VDs – short for Venereal disease. (Harris 83)

Sexual abuse happens when someone mistreats a person in sexual way. Sometimes it happens when someone who is more powerful than another person or when someone who is older than another person takes advantage of that person in a sexual way. It is wrong for anyone to take advantage of another person just because he or she is older or more powerful. (Harris
