One aspect that is interesting to discuss is language variation in which caused by sex. In social life, sex is becoming a differentiation in many things, one of them is language. Sex can influence the language and being an important factor for counting language variation. Basically, man and woman have a basic difference in language thing. The different of sex is slowly growing become different gender. Sex and gender are different. Sex is differentiation between man and woman in biology sector. And gender is differentiation between man and woman genetic, psychology, social, and culture. Gender is also a number of characteristic of psychology which determines as social and related to other sex. In other words, gender is result of social construction based on sex in society which differentiates man and woman. The understanding about gender is already socialized in early stage. Since kids, from game until behavior, boys and girls are already differentiate in a particular gender. Woman and man have different experiences. Since they are produced, man and women have different way to develop and having knowledge. As a result, the way they communication is different. In society, socialization about gender is closed to stereotype. And then, stereotype is characterized man and woman in society. 5 Stereotype is an image of particular characteristic which has by particular person or group of people and this imagery is constructed by person or group of people who is not in their society. Stereotype is a symbol of language which refers to a group of people and the symbol of that language contains emotional meaning. There is sexist language in stereotype. Sexist or sexism is the systematic inequitable treatment of girls and women by men or vice versa and by the society as a whole. The verbal utterance that used for generating the characteristic of man and people can be a statement or some words. The differentiation between man and woman influence their thinking. It can be seen from their language that they use, especially in describing something. In describing something, people will describe it directly. Before they are describing something, actually they have a perception about what they will describe. They have the perception from some information that they have from their five senses.
