The Everglades are important to the ecosystem. It is a water source for some people and a home to different species. If people don’t protect the Everglades, then that would endanger the animals and plants in the Everglades.
We should keep the Everglades safe and always protect it from harm. In the essay, "Are The Everglades Forever?" Paragraph 3, it says that " Reports from over a year ago say that thousands of pythons have been making their homes in the Everglades." Pythons have been disturbing the food chain by eating some of the inhabitants lie foxes, rabbits etcetera. That can cause that species to be endangered if the snakes continue to eat them.
Not only pythons but some plants are dangerous to the Everglades. "
