The position is integral in our organization and should be filled as soon as possible. We have already had an extensive interview process that has taken up quite a bit of time while looking at the applications of 100 candidates. It is also known that we will be interacting with other professionals in our field. This leads me to believe that if everyone knows that we are supposed to be a conglomerate of four professionals, but we show up missing a member, it will damage our image. Missing a member could leave people with the impression that we lack the motivation or the competence to complete our team. Honestly, in my opinion, it was no contest. The other candidates compared to her were extremely subpar, and didn’t seem to have prepared nearly as much as she did. In hindsight, I believe that she would be the best person to employee into our organization. Her ability to answer our questions and exude an atmosphere that made us consider her, despite her bold appearance, is something that the other interviewees lacked. While she may not be the best person to solely represent us, she won’t be the only face of our company. We are a team, so she will simply be a part of the face. Also, as Sarah pointed out it could actually end up in a law suit if we do not hire her. June also agrees that we need to fill the position as soon as possible.
