What comes in your mind when you heard someone saying “family”? Most likely, people have their own definition of family because we all are raised in different environment. It is difficult to define family as in one word because in today’s generation there are many types of families. Such as, single parents, same sex parents, unmarried couples, and etc. Culture plays important role in defining family as well. For example, some general public might believe that there needs to be a male and a female in oder to raise the children and have a family. On the other hand, one might believe that it doesn’t need to be opposite-sex to raise children and have a family.
