Having such a vast area it is no surprise that India also has the second greatest population in a country right behind China. To put that into perspective the US’s broad density is 85 people per square unit – which is nothing compared to the population concentration of people in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi heads the current government in India. This is expected to be much better than the previous governments, and bring India’s standings up as an investment destination. The economic freedom in India has been steady for nearly five years. Under Modi’s administration structural adjustments have been taken that focus on improving the inefficient government sector, the management of public finance and business environments. The economy of India is expected to grow, seeing that the majority of the population now is of the younger generation. With any region, there is corruption in many areas in India. This is an inflexible structure that is observed country wide, in all states and territories. Primary school consists of first to fifth grade. Middle school is fifth to eighth grade. Secondary school is Ninth to tenth grade and higher secondary school is eleventh and twelfth grade, which can also be referred to as pre-university. Then to continue an education it is similar to the US, you have undergraduate and postgraduate school. Majority of the schools in India are run and funded by the government. Regardless the public education system in India is unfavorable due to the lack of competent infrastructure, inadequate funding, and a deficit of qualified teachers. In lieu of sending their kids to public schools, parents strive to send their kids to private schools. Sadly, the privilege of receiving a better education is affected my student’s caste or religion. Those who are less fortunate will not have the same opportunities as someone higher in the caste ladder. A practice that should have been left for the history book is unfortunately still taking
