Showing that I always get done what is asked of me in good time and being everywhere I need to be fifteen minutes prior to the time I need to be there shows that I am a good soldier, squared away and ready to go. Also being fifteen minutes early ensures I will never be late. Other people and leadership will notice that I am on top of my game and will be more inclined to send me to the schools I would like to attend or other activities I would like to experience. The more schools that I attend, the more promotion points I will receive, which will send me down the road to becoming a Non-Commissioned Officer. Having good time management skills requires self-discipline, which all soldiers should have. If someone with self-discipline uses time management, for example, would go to bed to receive sufficient rest for the next day, so he isn’t drowsy.
