By going to Century I had to pay, well nothing at all; my Financial AID and scholarship covered everything. This took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Having debt had never been one of my plans, but I knew that if I wanted to attend a university I would have had some. After finishing my Financial AID for Bethel University, which has a tuition of $35,010 per year, I had $19,050 left to pay. To me, it appeared still very expensive and so for my parents. If I would 've chosen to attend Bethel University, by the time I graduate I would probably have around $80,000 or more loans plus interest; just the thought about it scares me to death. Considering costs and not getting over your budget will support your decision by making you feel confident and stress-free. Also having a long term plan will allow you to see if the choice you are making contradicts your future plans or helps them. As Bear Grylls said: “Survival is not about being fearless.
