The Importance Of Analyzing My Writing Skills

Final Exam Option 1 Being in several college classes and taking two English classes. I have seen a lot of papers that have been required to write and turn in. I have progressed and critique my writing so that I was able to make major improvements over the past year and half or so here at JCCC. Looking at paper’s that I wrote when I first started going here, to where I am now, is somewhat embarrassing comparing my writing skills from then and now show great improvements. Most of those improvements are from me asking questions and learning from my professors here at JCCC. As a result, I have learned many things from taking class’s here at JCCC. I have particularly learned a lot about how powerful the English language can be. It can be used in many ways and if used incorrectly it can result in dire consequences. Usually with these dire consequences I have seen personally that it can lead straight down the road to violence or very close to a fist fight. She mentions “nefarious purposes” and says an “agency as an act with consequences”. Looking at this quote and the word choice she uses; I interpret that she is trouble where the English language is going and how it’s being used it the real world today. In which it’s being abused by wicked things or taken advantage of (“nefarious purposes”) and an “agency as an act with consequences”. I find this form of word choice, describing something like the English language rather interesting. She is basically saying that the English language is a tool or thus an “agency” filled with knowledge and if abused or used in such a way that is wrong, then there will be
