Even when fed regularly by people, a cat 's motivation to hunt remains strong, so it continues hunting,” just like the species that domesticated it they like to hunt for sport. This is a big issue because cats eating this much and hunting for sport really destabilizes whole ecosystems. Feral cats also pose a huge issue to endangered animals right here in Texas for example the Attwaters Prairie-Chicken, native the western coast grasslands its population has been decimated by predators most notably the cat hunting both it and raiding its nest for eggs, Meadowlarks which are heavily predated by feral cats to the point of sometimes diminishing entire populations, the least tern of the Southwestern coast has been hunted to the point that in between 1966 and 2015 the population declined a total 88%, and also the countless native

I believe that the concept of a feral child is impossible. The child would not have a way to receive any nutrition. This is because there is no one to feed the child and it is obvious that infants cannot take care of themselves. The risk of disease is also very high. Infant’s immune systems are susceptible to disease.…

The National Park Service is cooperating with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Florida Department of Natural Resources, and other organizations to attempt to restore the Florida Panther’s population to its original state. (Big Cat Rescue, 2016) Although the Endangered Species Act (ESA) is designed to protect T&E species from extinction, continued loss of habituation private land is undermining species conservation and recovery. However, because the ESA applies only when land use changes require a federal permit or receive federal funds (Kreye, Pienaar, Soto, & Adams, 2017, pg.459). To help track the population size and behaviors of the Florida Panther, the Florida Fish…

This leads the children having delays in the development of their neural and psychological systems which support socio-emotional functioning. There are also ethical issues that arise when attempting to re-socialise a feral child. It is important for these children to be reintroduced into human life slowly and given sufficient care and attention to ensure they can adjust.…

According to National Geographic, the article “Exotic Pets”, former exotic wildlife owner, Tim Harrison claims, “(I) will never again own anything wild or exotic./ (I) believe ownership of all potentially dangerous exotic animals should be banned”. Therefore even a former owner of wolves, snakes, lions, and bears agrees that having possession of wild animals can be extremely dangerous to a person considering exotic pets can be unpredictable. Furthermore, owners of exotic pets do not realize the risk and danger they put on the community for housing these exotic creatures. In National Geographic, the article “Exotic Pets” Lauren Slater writes, “A man named Terry Thompson let 50 of his wild animals, including lions and tigers, out of their cages and enclosures before killing himself”. This quote depicts an example of a man from Ohio, who let out 50 wild animals, causing a dangerous situation for citizens living in Muskingum County.…
