The end of World War II could have been different was it not for the carrying out of innovations and putting geographical consideration in place. Every innovation shaped the course of the war in a different way. All of these innovations contributed to the success of the war. In the paper, we have gone deeper into explaining how every innovation aided in making the war a success and how the geographical considerations helped the soldiers in making successful attacks to their enemies. Introduction
The concept of war is associated mostly with words such as pain, death, loss and destruction. Most people are not aware that the war brought about many inventions. Though the working together of the soldiers propelled the victors allied …show more content…
It functioned as an essential element in most machines, which the soldiers used during the war. They also used rubber in wire-covering, soles of the shoes and the tires of the tanks as well as any critical component that the soldiers would require during the war. By mid-1942, the Japanese had already gained control over most of the Asian continent, which made them control the large percentage of the world supply of natural rubber. It is after this that engineers and chemists were asked to come up with a synthetic rubber. Later they made the Government Rubber Styrene (GRS). The production of rubber continued even after the end of the war. Until today, most of the rubber materials originated from the Government Rubber Styrene.
Jet Engine
Scientist developed the first jet engine to work before the World War II. The Germans were also in the process of completing the invention of another jet engine. The outcome of the war could have been different if the Germans had completed their jet engine before the British. They created the fastest plane during those times, the Messerschmitt Me 262. The British named their first jet engine Gloster Meteor. Until today, the development of engines uses the original concept of planes as was used during the World War II

It remains to be the most famous innovation that occurred during World War II, considering the science and technology used it stands as a tremendous innovation. The project used in developing the atomic bomb codenamed Manhattan project. The development of the bomb was a top-secret mission that took place in Oak Ridge. They Washington workers purified Uranium 235 and then created plutonium element. As the Americans were creating a bomb in Washington, the Germans from Nazi were creating another one. The two bombs came to be dropped at Hiroshima and Nagasaki and led to the death of more than 270, 000
