When Mitford said, “How true; once the blood is removed, chances of live burial are indeed remote,” we understand she was trying to comfort those who are afraid of live burial by explaining to them that without blood, you cannot be alive. Once all the blood is drained from the body, there is no remote chance of burying the body alive.
