It seems as if traumatic events involving sexual or emotional abuse are the common threadshared by people with DID. Typically the event(s) occurred in childhood or adolescence and were usuallyof a violent nature. The case of Herschel Walker suggests that there may be varying degrees of severitywithin DID diagnoses. The “alters” seem to serve a defensive purpose, and there is little or no memoryof events or actions that occurred while the alter was in control. I was not in class to view the Hilary Stanton documentary due to illness, although I was able tolocate the trailer for the film and witness her behavior as each different alter briefly.…

    The Four Movies Analysis

It is pretty obvious that the four films of Theme two are all somehow similar, and the first thing they have in common is the theme, which, to my understanding, is resource rob and environmental justice. All four movies are trying to deliver the message that human-beings are greedy, they try to gather as much resource as they can for their future development, which destroys many beautiful natural lands and directly kills a lot of natives along with their sacred culture. Also, it is pretty obvious that these four movies are all mainly talked about the conflict between modern human-beings and native “uncivilized savage”. Modern people tried to invade natives’ lands and grab their resources like gold or mineral, and their first step is cutting…

    Film Reimagined

The Film, Reimagined To reimagine the seventh installation of the epic fantasy series Star Wars in the tradition of the French New Wave of the late 1950s/60s, one would have to drastically reconsider and revise the film’s budget, cinematography, special effects, and, perhaps most importantly, point of view and narrative style. Within the reimagining, the basic plot and characters would remain the same because the plot and characters are quite archetypical; they maintain their integrity and meaning in a variety of settings. However, instead of being the seventh title within the series, this reimaging would be more effective and historically accurate as a standalone film. The title of the film would be revised to reflect the reimagining’s French…
