Hunting has been Rainsford’s passion forever, Rainsford even claims it is “ ‘the best sport in the world’ ” (The Dangerous Game pg. 19). Also, when Zaroff first met Rainsford he says,”I have read your books about hunting snow leopards in Tibet” (The Dangerous Game pg.23). Rainsford even puts himself in danger by killing buffalo because he finds it thrilling and the whole reason for him going to the amazon was to hunt big game.These reasons support my claim because it shows that he obviously loves hunting considering that he has enough knowledge to write books about it.
