Process writing is the directions to accomplish the task at hand, or to explain exactly how things work in writing. An excellent example of process writing would be the story “Stripped for Parts”, this story helps one further comprehend the concept of process writing. It grasps the concept of process writing by explaining, and going in more depth about the process, of donating organs and organ extraction. Taking care of the organs in this process is very crucial, if one were to misplace or destroy an organ a life could be lost. Three things that stood out in this writing was the authors purpose in writing this story and use of rhetorical appeal, the reason this essay is considered a process writing essay, and how this essay is multimodal.
