It is through this reality that I question, “How did the Chapultepec Accords contribute to post-civil war gender mainstreaming of Salvadoran society?” This question engages the gendered dimension that post-war observation and analysis has historically excluded, thus contributing to a growth in International Relations feminist and gender studies.
