In this situation, the ideal situation was to let the Prince handle Tybalt’s murder. However, Romeo’s rage got the better of him and killed Tybalt which resulted to exile which made it harder to be with Juliet.
The other mistake Romeo made was near the end of the play where he was talking to himself when he visited Juliet’s coffin. In act 5 scene 3, Romeo said, “Thou art not conquered, beauty’s ensign yet is the crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks.”
