The question given was to critically discuss the concept of marketing to the bottom of the pyramid. To define what the bottom of the pyramid is, is that it is a socio-economic concept that allows people to group a massive sector of the world’s poorest populations establishing an invisible and unserved market blocked by challenging barriers that stop them from recognising their human potential for their own benefit, those of their families and that of humanity’s at large.

When knowledge management facilitates decision making capabilities, data can offer managers a means of information, but handling overpowering amounts can get in the way of reaching high quality decisions. The corporate executive council (CEC) is an example of how one company put a knowledge management system in place to help directors out by sharing information and refining their decision-making.
When knowledge management builds learning organisations by making learning routines, an example of this is the USA Army’s after action Reviews, this has created a culture where everyone incessantly assesses themselves, their units and their businesses, looking for ways to improve after every important activity/ events, Army teams review assignments identify success and failures, and seek ways to perform better next time. (Garvin, 2000, pg106) This approach can be used to reorganize actions and progress
