A hero can be described as many things, such as someone who is capable of overcoming their fears in order to help others. Extraordinary people, such as Martin Luther King Jr, took a stand and spoke about what he believed in, despite his fear. Heroes are also people who help others in ways that some aren’t always capable of, and are often selfless people who always do the right thing. Sometimes we need someone to suddenly by there when we’re in need, and having a hero allows this to be possible.
The appeal of comic book superheroes, such as Batman and Superman, move us with the stories of these supernatural beings that can instantly remove danger. This may also explain our deep admiration for society’s law enforcement, firefighters, military
