To begin with, Texting and driving is bad because bad because everybody seems to do it. In fact, according to Fox News over 90 percent of frequent drivers in an AT&T-sponsored survey said they know texting and driving is dangerous -- but that doesn’t stop them from doing it. This shows that many people driving do not have their full attention to the road. In addition, USA News says that “almost 31 percent drivers ages 18 through 64 said that they have read or sent text messages while driving.” This proves that many people driving on the rode are not focused and may cause and accident. Unfortunately everybody texting and driving is not the only factor in why people text and drive.
