Introduction: Teri and her husband Brian met while attending college at the University of Arizona, in Tucson. After graduating, Teri continued on to Law school and is now a personal injury attorney. Brian, obtained his Master degree in business and is currently working for Honey Well. They were married in 2006 and enjoyed four wonderful years together before having their first set of twins, Maya and Owen, in February 2010. The couple were “Over the moon” and excited to finally welcome their children into the world. (Rowe, 2014) In June of 2010, Brain and Teri hired me to be their full-time nanny. Maya is an exceptionally bright young girl who loves playing with her brothers and sister; and especially when she gets to pick the activity. She enjoys arts and crafts and will use every color available to make a rainbow like creation. She is a very energetic girl, her parents have all the children enrolled in various sports activates, such as, soccer, swimming and gymnastics. Maya excels at them all with a high level of hand eye coordination and ability to understand and follow the rules of each sport. She speaks clearly, in complete sentence while being able to formulate her thoughts well. Maya is the voice of the group, she attempts to speak for her siblings, even when it is not always appreciated. Its important to Teri to educate her children and encourage their success, her and Brian work with the children regularly to ensure their development is on course. (Rowe, 2014) Maya has attended preschool, for nine hours a week since she was two years old. (Feldman, p.235)As a result, she is quite comfortable going to school and is on track with her social and cognitive development.
