Last Thursday, November 5th, Temple’s FBLA went to the Fall Leadership Conference in Athens, Georgia. We prepared beforehand by creating a basket filled with school supplies and gift cards to donate to the Scholarship Basket event, where people paid for tickets in order to have a chance to win the basket of their choosing. This helped raise money for scholarships, which are to be awarded to senior FBLA members.Our basket proved to be a hit, with many people choosing to put their tickets towards winning it. There was also a Monopoly tournament for the FBLA members to participate in, where a team of up to 4 members could come together to beat two other teams.
