Parents aren't exactly the easiest people to get along with, especially when us teenagers, want to be treated like capable adults that have responsibilities and privileges. So we lash out on our parents to give us some space, we push them away little by little over time and distance ourselves from there love and care, because we need room to grow as individuals. Having a good relationship with your parents is important, because in the long run you will be more trust worthy, and eventually receive more responsibility that lead to being treated more like an adult.

Temple Grandin is an autistic genius known for her great way of animal behavior sciences. But Temple doesn't quite have all things come easy to her since she can't figure out how to read peoples facial expressions, which actually made her very pretty upset not being able to tell what people meant when they were talking. People who aren't autistic are a lot like Temple in the way that they can't read each others facial expressions either and end up assuming, which leads in to miscommunication. Communication is important to have in a relationship especially with your parents, because without communication our lives would fall apart. Children watch there parents from a very young age, they learn how to communicate with others just from simply watching their parents. If the parents are good about communicating with each other chances are that there children will be effective communicators as well. Communicating is huge because on any given average day, everyone is involved in some sort of communication. Kids have to communicate with their parents, teachers, and care givers just to simply check in daily. These are just some of the many ways that a child and their parents relationship can be greatly improved when there is effective communication
