Ted Bundy, born November 24, 1946, was a famous serial killer and rapist in the 1970s. He raped and murdered young women across several different states. He was connected to at least 36 murders, however people thought he committed hundred or more. He became somewhat of a “celebrity” during the trail with his charm and intelligence. But the court still gave him the death penalty and he was executed in 1989 by way of the electric chair. (source #5)

Predatory vs. Affective vs. Hostile vs. Instrumental?
Bundy would use predatory aggression, once he had his victims lured in he planned to hurt and kill them. He was a very organized serial killer, which is why he was able to stay off of the radar of the police (SOURCE 4). He would also use hostile aggression while he was raping and killing his victims. His goal wasn’t just to rape and kill but also to make the victims suffer (SOURCE 3).
d. How might the subject have become an aggressive individual?
Ted Bundy became an aggressive individual because of events that happen in his childhood. He would watch and take after his grandfather, who he thought was his real father, who was very violent and aggressive. Another event in Ted’s childhood was when he started watching violent pornography and he then wanted to perform the acts himself. His addiction got so bad that the fantasies he would have turned into reality (SOURCE 2).

Yes, Ted Bundy was a psychopath, he was classified as a High Factor 1 Psychopath, this means that he was intelligent and showed very few signs of psychopathy in early life. There are also allegations that a Boy Scout leader molested him when he was about 12 years old. As Bundy grew up he would enjoy peeping into girls windows trying to watch them change. It became very obvious that the main reason Bundy killed is because he just enjoyed doing it (answer to #9). Other factors that could have motivated Bundy were when he found out his mother betrayed him and also when his first girlfriend dumped him because she thought he had no future.
